Youth entering grades 7-12 from across the Great River Region (Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi) will be gathering in Northwest Arkansas the weekend of August 12-14 for fun & friendship, as well as a full day of mission work in Joplin! All junior high and high school youth are welcome. Join us for a great weekend!

FCC Bentonville & WaterWay are also teaming up with the TJ Castleman Charity of Hope to host a 4-man golf scamble on Saturday, August 13. The tournament is being held at The Creeks golf course on Hwy 112 in Cave Springs. The tournament will include a longest drive contest, a closest to the pin contest, and a hole-in-one contest with some great prizes - including a Hole-in-One CAR provided by Everett Maxey of Bentonville, plus a new set of irons and a new driver!

Each team must have 4 golfers. Women are encouraged to join in! The cost per team is $500, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, breakfast, lunch, and the chance to win great prizes. And best of all, all proceeds from the golf tournament will go directly to the people of Joplin - so you are benefitting a great cause! 

If you are interested in helping sponsor this event, we would love to have your help! There are 4 levels of sponsorship. Bronze Sponsorship ($100) includes a tee box sign with your company's name, and having your company's literature, coupons or flyers put in the golfers' goodie bags. Silver Sponsorship ($500) includes 2 tee box signs with your company's name, having your company literature, coupons or flyers in golfers' goodie bags, and your name listed in the Sponsorship Directory. Gold Sponsorship ($1,500) includes 3 tee box signs and your own company banner at the 1st or 18th hole, plus having your company literature, coupons or flyers in goodie bags and being listed in the Sponsorship Directory. Event Sponsorship includes all of the spoils of the Gold Sponsors, plus being mentioned as a sponsor in radio ads and having a company team in the tournament.

We are all overwhelmed with the need of our neighbors to the north in Joplin… but let’s not also forget we have people right here in Bentonville who also need help. Throughout June, we are collecting healthy snacks for the Helping Hands Community Pantry. The economy has hit many folks extremely hard, which has put a great deal of demand on ministries like Helping Hands. This is a great way to share God’s love within our own community in that time of need. Thank you for your donations!

The Youth are holding one last fund-raiser to pay for their mission trip next week to Nashville. They will be having a car wash in the FCC parking lot during all worship services this Sunday, June 6. Just drop your car off before worship and and pick it up afterwards, spic-n-span clean for you. For more info, or to donate car wash supplies, contact Daniel Parker @ 273-2596.

The week after school (June 11-17), we are headed to Nashville to help with flood relief. All current 7th-12th graders are welcome to attend! We also need two more adults to join us! This is a great way to build relationships among our youth while making a difference in the world, demonstrating the love of Christ in real, life-changing ways! We need to know soon if you would like to attend. Contact Daniel at 479-273-2596 for more details, or to get a permission slip. And keep us in your prayers!
